Pondicherry: The land of serenity
Pondicherry: The Union territory of Pondicherry is situated at around 160kms from Chennai. Being a former French colony, it exudes a Mediterranean aura and is famous for the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, one of the most well known ashrams in India with devotees from all over the world, and its offshoot Auroville. Pondicherry is also famous for its pristine beaches and its French town ensconced with French style architecture and boutiques.

Day 3 - Pondicherry
8:00 amBreakfast onboard The Golden Chariot
9:30 amA tour through Auroville – Ashram and Matrimandir
1:30 pmLunch onboard The Golden Chariot.
4:15 pmA Visit to the Aurobindo Ashram.
5.30 pmStroll on beach/ French town/Shopping
7:30 pmDinner at a local restaurant*
10:00 pmBack on board TGC, overnight on the train.
11.30 pmDepart to Trichy.
