About Millenium Park
The Millenium Park was inaugurated on 1st January, 2000, thereby, justifying its name. It is one of the latest additions to the list of gardens and parks in Kolkata. This Park is situated on the land of Kolkata Port Trust and was developed with the intention of adding glamour to the “City of Joy.”
Since the Park is situated on the banks of the Hooghly River, the river provides a beautiful backdrop. The strategic location of the park in the vicinity of BBD Bagh, enables easy connectivity to all parts of the city. The Park also provides a glimpse of the Howrah Bridge.
