About Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park covers a large area of 237.75 acres and is located in the middle of the city. This park was gifted by the Tata Steel Company to the local populace for the completion of 50 years of establishment of the city in 1958. Jubilee Park, which is also known as the Mughal Garden, has been modelled like the Vrindhavan Garden of Mysore.

The park features colourful fountains, Jayanti Sarovar, Smriti Udyan and Foliage Park. There is also a Nicco Park or the recreational centre in the park, where children can enjoy thrilling rides. The Tata Steel Zoological Park and the Upvan of the Jubilee Park are prominent picnic spots. Moreover, on the birth anniversary of the Shri Jamshedji Tata, the founder of the city, this park is decorated with lights and other items.
